Phrygian Dominant Lessons 21-26
Lesson 21:
This is
another romp utilizing the Indian instrument slide I showed in an earlier
lesson. The slides need to be really quick. Almost on the same beat as the
fretted note.
It's played with single notes slowly, then faster with signle notes, then with
the strumming technique slowly, then the strumming technique a little faster.

Lesson 22:
Ok, for this
one we are going to leave the scale and play something out of a D half/whole
step scale. This is a symmetrical scale, and has it's place in Middle-Eastern
music. It uses the same types of feel and technique in a number of the past
lessons.
It sounds a little Zeppelin-ish too.
The MP3 has it played slowly with single notes, then slowly with the strumming
technique, then fast with the strumming techinique.
This one is real enjoyable.

Lesson 23:
Lesson #23
This one is using the same techniques we've been doing all along, but it
utilizes the D Mixolydian mode. Kind of has a Cletic sound to it.
It's the ending to a song I wrote that I need to re-record and post.
The MP3 is played one time slowly with single notes, then slowly with the
strumming technique, then fast with the strumming technique.
